Asics Omniflex Pursuit Wrestling Shoes
Asics Omniflex Pursuits, not to be confused with the original Pursuits, are a shoe that brought true innovation to the wrestling shoe world.
These shoes were released in 2012 around Christmas time and a key selling point of them was all of the engineering that went into the shoe. They're a breathable mesh, with a unique design that includes a compression fit and lace pocket.

Colorways of Omniflex Pursuits
In the original release, these shoes were offered in 3 colorways, which included:
- Red, white, blue, and an accent of gold
- Red, white, and an accent of gold
- Black with white accents
After the release, they came out with a fourth orange and black colorway.

How Much Do Omniflex Pursuits Cost?
These shoes hit the market in 2012 and retailed for several years. At the time of release, they were around $165.
They eventually went down significantly, likely due to not as many pairs selling as what Asics would've originally hoped. They revamped the shoe to the "Omniflex Attack" in its second variation of this model. There are now two versions of the Omniflex Attack shoes.
In today's collector market, these shoes typically go for around $80-$300 depending on the size, condition, and colorway.
Fun Fact About Omniflex Pursuits
A fun fact about these shoes is that they were my Christmas gift in 2012! My parents gave me the option of a new flat screen TV, or these shoes. Being the collector and shoe lover I was (and still am) I took the shoes, and wore them a lot of my junior year. After a disappointing postseason, I sold the shoes thinking they were cursed. I'm sure I'm not the only collector out there who sells their shoes when a tournament doesn't go their way!
