A Constantly Changing Collection of Rare Wrestling Shoes
Rare Wrestling Shoes Co. is home to one of the largest old school wrestling shoe collections featuring shoes from leading brands. Many shoes on this site were manufactured 20+ years ago, making them tough to find anywhere else. Whether you're a collector looking to expand your collection or a wrestler looking for a unique pair of wrestling shoes for the season, there's a good chance you'll find them here! My inventory is constantly changing, so if you don't find what you need, check back in the future. Though I do sell shoes if the price is right, please keep in mind that I'm first and foremost a collector who appreciates the history of the shoes I collect so many of my shoes are listed above market price (on apps like eBay) and that's because many of these have taken me years to acquire for my collection.
I not only collect rare shoes, I also try to spread knowledge about them to those wanting to learn more. The main purpose of this site wasn't designed to sell shoes, but rather talk about them and show them off!

At this time, every pair of wrestling shoes on this site are mine. At this time, I do not list shoes for other sellers. I want to make sure that each pair of shoes I list has an accurate description and photos that are showing the shoe's true condition.

My name is Nolan Barger and I've been collecting rare shoes for over 15 years. Over those years I've owned over 500 pair of wrestling shoes. I started doing most of my buying, selling, and trading on Flickr under the names Barg130, Barg145, Barg165, and RaisingTheBARG. After numerous scams I encountered, I left Flickr and began selling shoes only on eBay. Eventually, I left eBay due to high service fees and established Rare Wrestling Shoes Co., an LLC in the State of Pennsylvania.
As a wrestler, I wrestled for Clearfield High School in PA, where I was a state medalist. I then wrestled at Lycoming College where I was a 3x DIII All-American. Now I am involved with the sport as a fan and a coach. Day-to-day, I'm a Solutions Architect for a Digital Marketing Agency, so Rare Wrestling Shoes is a small side business I manage in my spare time.
