Puma Red and White West German Wrestling Shoes
- I believe these are a size 9.5-10.5, as they fit very similar and were puchased from the same owner of my Adidas Freistils. There are no tags that say the size that I can find.
- Never for sale or trade. These are just for show and those doing research on old shoes.
- These Puma wrestling shoes were purchased in 1986 in West Germany. They are West Germans as the tag and the tongue both say that’s where they were made. Any shoe tied to West Germany typically holds a higher value since they predate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
- These shoes feature a unisole design much like many shoes of their style and age. They were purchased in 1986 in West Germany while the original owner was there for a tournament.
- Note that most Puma wrestling shoes aren’t actually wrestling shoes, they’re racing shoes. So a pair of the actual Puma wrestling shoes are very hard to come by. If you own a pair, I’m not even sure what to tell you they’re worth. There isn’t a huge collector market for Pumas as many don’t know they exist and there are very few references I have of these shoes selling in my ~15 years of collecting.
