Footsweeps were one of the most popular shoes of their time. They were worn by sport legends such as Cary Kolat in college.  These shoes were designed to be high top, yet lightweight so they could compete with Adidas Combat Speeds, that have historically led the market in wrestling shoes sales.  Footsweeps came in a blue and black colorway, as pictured, and also a red, white and blue colorway.  Note that replicas have been made of footsweep wrestling shoes and these are not it. The replicas, which I believe were released in 2012 by a knock-off manufacturer came in the RWB colorway and have different soles. These footsweeps are the originals that were manufactured by Nike in the late 90s.
