  • PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION – ALL FLAWS PICTURED HAVE BEEN REPAIRED PROFESSIONALLY
  • Signature shoe for Dan Gable – Olympic champ and legendary coach for the University of Iowa
  • Basically brand new, only worn a handful of times at best
  • I have original box from I believe the early 90s
  • The glue holding the sole together had deteriorated with age as shown in the pictures.  I had the sole restitched to the fabric of the shoe and the red pads glued back in place by Lecrow Designs.  He is an expert at wrestling shoe repairs.
  • The soles don’t seem to be dry rotted, just the glue holding them together started to give.
  • The leather is also flaky when enough pressure is applied due to age, so it would likely chip when worn, similar to elite internationals.
